1 Answer. CHECK AROUND FUEL LINES AFTER IT HAS BEEN STANDING FOR A WHILE. THEY MIGHT NOT LEAK ENOUGH TO DRIP DOWN BUT MIGHT LOSE SOME DIESEL TO CAUSE WETNESS AROUND A FUEL LINE. IF DIESEL IS GETTING OUT THAT ALSO MEANS THAT THE AIR CAN GET IN. FIRST REPLACE FUEL FILTER.
